A Short Reflection on Sabbath
I wanted to offer a brief reflection on the biblical idea of Sabbath. Old Testament Question & Response #1
Several of you sent in questions before we began the Torah Portions study, so here is a Q&R to get us started. These questions range from issues like: Does Genesis teach that women are lesser than men? Why does my Bible sometimes say “God” and other times “LORD”? Did Israelites think Yahweh had a wife? What did they believe about the afterlife? And a few more! Check out the blog for the full post and keep sending in your questions!
